Allied Universal is looking for a Physical Security Administrator in Montreal, QC.

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Role Summary:

The Physical Security Administrative Support position will focus on key areas such as reception duties, bilingual switchboard, access administration, customer service and advanced security project assistance.

Reporting to the Senior Business Support Security Specialist, the Physical Security Administrative Support position is an essential member of the Business Support program. This position will balance competing priorities such as bilingual switchboarding, on-site support for customers and employees, email inquiry support and large-scale initiatives as required. We are looking for a forward-looking candidate, keen to challenge and improve processes, and eager to deliver a first-class customer experience to all customers and staff.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate a multi-line bilingual telephone system and transfer calls accordingly.
  • Assist and orient customers, visitors, staff and suppliers upon arrival, and manage the register.
  • Participate in front desk coverage, e-mail inquiries and alarm testing.
  • Contribute to program development, encouraging the sharing of knowledge and ideas through collaboration with peers.
  • Work closely with the Tech Solution team in processing applications, distributing passes and coordinating other elements of the program as required.

Education and experience:

  • Fluently bilingual (English and French)
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a reception/office environment and/or experience in a similar environment.
  • A post-secondary diploma would be beneficial.

Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French.
  • Experience with access control and access control systems.
  • First-class customer service skills to ensure the best possible experience for everyone with whom they interact on a daily basis.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to issues of ethics, diversity, fairness and harassment in the workplace.
  • Good understanding of organizational priorities and relationships.
