Allied Universal is seeking Security Guard - Corporate in Brampton, Ontario.  
Job Title: Security Guard - Corporate
Location: Brampton, ON
Type: Part-time
Pay Rate: $18.15 per hour
Shifts: Saturday & Sunday, Overnight - 7PM to 7AM
Overview :
We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Security Guard - Corporate to join our team at a commercial site in Brampton, ON. This position involves providing security with a focus on maintaining a safe and secure environment for all personnel and assets. This role requires individuals who have prior experience working in corporate environment with good communication skills, basic computer skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Site Surveillance & Patrol: Perform regular patrols of the site and surrounding areas to ensure the security of the premises. Monitor all entry points for unauthorized access.
  • Visibility & Coverage: Maintain high visibility at the designated posts. Ensure security coverage near sensitive areas within the site.
  • Access Control: Enforce site access protocols by verifying the identification of authorized personnel, logging visitor entry and exit, and ensuring that gates and doors remain securely locked when not in use.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and constant communication via radio with other security personnel. Report incidents, unusual activities, or security concerns promptly.
  • Emergency Response: Respond quickly and appropriately to any emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, or security breaches. Contact emergency services and assist as necessary.
  • Incident Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of all security activities, incidents, and patrols. Complete shift reports and provide detailed handover notes for the next shift.
  • Site & Asset Protection: Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access to site materials and equipment. Ensure all property is secured at all times.
  • Compliance with Safety Procedures: Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures on-site, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel.
  • General Security Duties: Ensure the overall safety and security of the site and surrounding areas by addressing any security risks or safety concerns that arise during the shift.
REQUIREMENTS :
  • 1-2 years of experience working in Corporate Security
  • Must be comfortable with computers
  • Excellent English Communication skills, written & verbal is a must
  • Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
  • Must be at least 18 years old or above for insurance purposes
  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
  • First Aid and CPR
