Allied Universal is seeking Security Professional in Brampton, Ontario.

Job Title: Security Professional

Location: Brampton, ON

Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.70 per hour

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:00

Overview :

Allied Universal is looking for a professional and customer-service-oriented Security Guard to join our team at a corporate location in Brampton. This role involves maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and clients. The ideal candidate will be well-spoken, dependable, and able to handle routine duties with professionalism and discretion.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Greet and screen all visitors, verify credentials, and ensure only authorized personnel are granted access to the building.

• Perform regular foot patrols throughout the office floors, common areas, and surrounding property to ensure safety and security.

• Oversee the flow of people entering and exiting the building, including lobby activity and visitor logs.

• Observe security cameras and alarm systems to detect any unusual activity or potential security threats.

• Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches, and follow company protocols.

• Accurately document and report incidents, observations, and daily activity in a timely manner.

• Maintain a polished, courteous, and professional demeanor to promote a safe and welcoming environment.

• Work closely with office management, building services, and other team members to support daily operations and ensure security protocols are followed.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a security role; corporate experience is an asset.

• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• First Aid and CPR
