Allied Universal is seeking Security Guard in Brampton, Ontario.

Job Title: Security Guard

Location: Brampton, ON

Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.60 per hour

Shifts: 0700 - 1900 Continental

Must have a reliable vehicle, site not transit accessible.

Overview :

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Security Guard to join our team at a Warehouse in Brampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining site security, monitoring access, and ensuring the facility is properly locked and secured during shift hours.

This role is ideal for a professional who takes pride in vigilance, accountability, and upholding the highest safety standards in a fast-paced operational environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Access Control: Monitor and control access to the warehouse, ensuring only authorized personnel and vehicles are permitted entry. Verify identification and maintain accurate entry and exit logs.
• Gate Operations: Responsible for locking and unlocking warehouse gates at scheduled times and ensuring all perimeter entry points are secured.
• Patrols: Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of the facility to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
• Safety Monitoring: Observe and report any safety hazards or suspicious activities to site management or dispatch.
• Incident Reporting: Complete detailed incident and daily activity reports in a clear and timely manner.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies, following site-specific protocols. Provide assistance to staff and visitors when needed.
• Professional Conduct: Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor when interacting with employees, contractors, and visitors.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Must have a reliable vehicle, site not transit accessible.
• 1-2 years of experience working in security industry.
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• First Aid and CPR
