Title: Security Team Lead

Overview:

Allied Universal is seeking experienced Security Team Leads to oversee security operations at our Canadian sites. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with excellent communication skills, willing to work rotational shifts, and able to manage a dynamic security team. If you have experience as a supervisor or team lead, enjoy patrolling, and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.

Requirement:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role in security.
  • Open availability for rotational shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
  • Must have a valid Alberta Security License.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
  • First Aid and CPR
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of security personnel, ensuring effective patrolling and site security.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, including site management and security personnel, in a professional manner.
  • Address and manage security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Coordinating with other team leads to ensure seamless shift transitions and consistent security coverage.
  • Perform regular patrols and site checks to maintain security standards.
  • Manage and oversee shift scheduling, ensuring adequate coverage for day and night shifts.
