Location: Leduc,Alberta

Pay rate : $20.95 Per hour 

Employment Type: Part Time

Shift: 15:15 - 3:15 , 23:15-0715 - Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Overview:

We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Security Shift Supervisor at Distribution Centre  to join our team in Delta,BC. This position involves providing security and monitoring services 24/7, with a focus on maintaining a safe and secure environment for all personnel and assets. Provide professional security services across multiple posts within a high-volume at distribution facility, including Screening SP,access control, patrol, and surveillance operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support security officers during the assigned shift.
• Ensure proper coverage of all security posts and conduct shift briefings.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, access control, loading docks, and restricted areas.
• Conduct and coordinate interior and exterior patrols.
• Respond to security incidents, emergencies, alarms, and medical situations.
• Enforce site security, safety, and access-control procedures.
• Prepare and review daily activity and incident reports.
• Communicate with site management, employees, contractors, and emergency responders.
• Provide professional customer service and maintain a visible security presence.
• Ensure proper shift handover and report outstanding issues.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Security Worker Licence required.
• Previous 3-4 year security experience required
• 1- 2 year supervisory experience is an asset.
• Distribution centre, warehouse, logistics, or Amazon experience is an asset.
• Strong leadership, communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, alarms, and incident reporting.
• Strong conflict-resolution and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete security reports.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Reliable, professional, punctual, and customer-service oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
