GSOC – Operator Job Posting
Location: Downtown Toronto
Department: Global Security Operations Centre
Reports To: GSOC Team Lead and GSOC Operations Manager
Job Type: Full-Time – 6 Week Continental Rotating Shifts (84 Hours Biweekly). All hours are in office, there are no remote hours for this position.

Pay Rate: $30/hr. with incremental increases based on tenure, performance and completion of courses.

Overview
Previous experience in Physical Security is not needed to apply to this position. We’re looking for a diverse group of people to join the team as Global Security Operations Centre Operators. The ideal candidate should have an eye for detail, be self-motivated, and be an effective communicator who is capable of working in a fast-paced team environment. The Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) is the 24/7 intake and triage for physical security occurrences at CIBC.

Key Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal team members, adjacent teams, and external partners
• Strong leader who owns their work and has an eye for continuous improvement
• Working in a 24/7 environment with rotating shifts in office (no remote work)
• Remote monitoring and triage of physical security occurrences, including vandalism, vagrancy, and intrusion alarms
• Being adaptable in the face of changing business needs

Qualifications

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
• Bilingual (French/English) is an asset.
