Title: Security Guard
Location: Toronto
Payrate: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour.
Schedule:Friday & Saturday- 2pm to 10pm and Sunday- 12pm to 8pm.
Overview:
Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard to oversee security operations at our Downtown Toronto site. The ideal candidate is a seasoned guard with excellent communication skills, willing to work the mentioned shift, and able to manage the job requirements. If you have experience as a security guard, enjoy patrolling, is swift in computers and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.
Requirement:
- Two years of experience in a guard role in security.
- Customer service experience is a must
- Experience working in a Condominium is an asset
- Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
- Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
- First Aid and CPR
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
- Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.
Responsibilities:
- Efficient with computers, ensuring effective patrolling and site security.
- Responds to Emergency Situations such as fires, Chemical Spills, Medical Emergencies, Phone Threats, answers alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises.
- Completes monthly, weekly, and daily tasks assigned.
- Communicate with stakeholders, including site management, in a professional manner.
- Address and manage security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Perform regular patrols and site checks to maintain security standards.
