Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Site Supervisor in Nova Scotia.

Title: Site Supervisor
Location: Eastern Passage, NS
Pay Rate: $18.30 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Candidates are responsible for obtaining and covering the cost of their initial Security License. Allied Universal will cover the cost of future license renewals.

Overview:

Allied Universal is seeking a professional and reliable Site Supervisor to oversee daily security operations at our site in Eastern Passage, NS. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, previous security experience, and be comfortable working with computers and CCTV monitoring systems. Candidates must be able to manage site responsibilities professionally while maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Requirements:

• Must be 25 years of age or older (Driving Position).

• Valid Provincial Driver’s License (Full License) required.

• Valid Security License required.

• First Aid & CPR certification required.

• Comfortable using computers and CCTV camera monitoring systems.

• Previous experience in a security supervisory or leadership role preferred.

• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours per week.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.

• Physically capable of standing or walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.

• Candidates must be willing to pay for the initial Security License. Allied Universal will cover renewal costs.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support security personnel on site.

• Monitor CCTV cameras and maintain site surveillance.

• Conduct regular patrols and site inspections to maintain security standards.

• Respond to emergency situations including alarms, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other incidents.

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and contractors.

• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports and assigned tasks.

• Communicate professionally with site management, employees, and visitors.

• Address and manage security incidents calmly and efficiently.

• Ensure compliance with all site procedures and safety regulations.
