Allied Universal is seeking a Site Supervisor to join our team in Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia. In this role, you will oversee daily site operations, supervise security personnel, ensure compliance with company and client requirements, and maintain a safe and secure environment for all site personnel and visitors.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Position Title: Site Supervisor

Work Location: Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia

Employment Type: Full-Time

Hourly Rate: $ 18.30 an hour

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the team during the work shift.

• Assign tasks and organize daily operations.

• Ensure the smooth execution of site activities.

• Manage unexpected situations, including lateness, absences, and incidents.

• Train and mentor new employees.

• Communicate with management and prepare reports.

• Ensure compliance with procedures and safety regulations.

• Monitor the quality of work and service delivery.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar environment.

• Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written, in order to prepare reports and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders in both languages, as required by the position.

• Must successfully pass a comprehensive 5-year background check and maintain a clean security record.

• Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and documentation purposes.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.

• Experience with CCTV systems, access control systems, and alarm monitoring software.

• Strong observation and surveillance skills.

• Valid Montreal Security Guard License (BSP).

• Valid First Aid Certification (CNESST) required.

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada up to 40 hours per week.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Valid driver's license.

• Customer Service Certification required.
