Allied Universal is seeking Security Professional in Edmonton, Alberta. 

Job Title: Security Professional - Temporary 

Job Location: Edmonton, Alberta

Job Type: Full Time , Casual

Shifts :  Various. Full Availability Required 

Full Time (Rotation) : 4 days on 4 days off (0600 - 1800 and 1800 - 0600)

Full Time: Monday to Friday (0600 - 1400, 1400 - 2200)

Casual: Must be available to pick up 12 hour shifts (0600 - 1800 or 1800 - 0600)

Pay Rate: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour 

Overview:
We are looking for diligent and reliable security guards to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring a safe environment.

Requirement:

• Valid Alberta security guard license.
• Must comply with the site's clean-shave policy due to Health and Safety compliance
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Valid Class 5  Driver’s License and Clear Driving Abstract .
• Must be eligible to work in Canada. 
• First Aid and CPR
• Must be 25+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct foot patrols of buildings and surrounding areas.
• Monitor and report suspicious activities and persons.
• Prevent and detect thefts or vandalism.
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily logs.
• Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Resolve conflicts calmly and effectively.
• Use radios and cell phones to communicate with team members.
• Follow emergency procedures and respond to alarms.
• Ensure safety and security protocols are upheld.
