Allied Universal is seeking Security Account Manager - Industrial Site in one of our industrial site in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.

Title: Security Account Manager - Industrial Site

Location: Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Shift: Monday to Friday - 8 hour shifts

Pay Rate: $74,000 - $84,000/year

Special Requirements:

  • Due to the safety requirements - must clear drug testing
  • Due to PPE equiment, must maintian no facial hair (beards and mustache)
  • Clean criminal record 
  • Must be over the age of 25 and clean drivers abstract due to insurance requirements 

Position Overview:

As a Security Account Manager - Industrial Site at Allied Universal, the Security Account Manager is accountable for day-to-day operations of an assigned account, including management and professional development of security personnel. The Security Account Manager will build, improve, and maintain relationships with clients and employees: develop and retain staff; coordinate needed support services and solve problems to effectively run the account. This role is responsible for meeting or exceeding financial and operational goals; provide quality customer service. The Security Account Manager maintains or oversees maintenance of weekly operating schedules, completion of payroll for assigned security personnel and provides after-hour emergency response as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the day-to-day security operations of an assigned client site
  • Manage a team of security officers, site and/or shift supervisors including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development, and support
  • Ensure the client site is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property
  • Build, improve, and maintain effective relationships with both client and employees
  • Coordinate necessary support services to effectively manage client site to meet or exceed financial and operational goals and provide quality customer service
  • Provide support to the Security team on all HSE matters, including but not limited to investigations of injury/illness, completion of learning from Incidents packages, promoting the safety culture by ensuring it is re-enforced throughout the security organization.
  • The development and implementation of security policies, programs and contingency plans to minimize the security risks within the facility.
  • Hosting security awareness training sessions, investigations for site incidents
  • Responsible for conducting mid-year and end year evaluations for all security team professionals.
  • Provide security related emergency response services and coordinate activities in the event of site wide emergency.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid Alberta Security Worker License
  • Post secondary education, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field or equilvent work experience 
  • Must possess, or be able to obtain, a valid security license
  • Minimum of two (2) years of security managerial experience
  • Valid Class 5 -drivers license with a clean drivers abstract

  • Proven experience in hiring, developing, motivating, and retaining quality team members 
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with security systems and technologies is beneficial.
  • Problemp-Solving: Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in microsoft office (excel, word and powerpoint)
