Title: Security Shift Supervisor

Location: Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta

Wage: $28.00- $29.23 per hour

Position: Permanent Full Time

Shifts: 05:30 am - 17:30 pm and 17:30 pm - 05:30 am

Rotational 12 hour shifts, 4 on, 4 off, 5 on 5 off including days and overnights.

Allied Universal® is seeking dedicated and experienced  Security Shift Supervisor for a full-time position for our team in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. The Security Shift Supervisor will oversee a team of security professionals and ensure the safety of our facilities, employees, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for security management.This role involves managing security operations, ensuring protocol compliance, and leading a team of security personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders.
• Direct security staff, including overseeing day to day responsibilities and personnel performance.
• Have oversight of  the Access Control and Visitor System.
• Support findings on any data reporting that may be required.
• Train and mentor security staff to ensure high standards of performance.
• Maintain accurate reports and documentation related to operations.
• Manage daily operations, including mobile and foot patrols.
• Recommend productivity improvements and cost-saving measures through analysis of data and auditing.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 4 years in a supervisory role
• Minimum of 5 years Security experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, experience with security systems and technology.
• Class 5 Driver’s License with 1 year of driving experience, clean abstract, and at least 25 years of age (insurance requirement).
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Professional communication with clients and colleagues, keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Physically able to walk/stand for long periods, climb stairs, work in all weather, and lift/carry up to 20 kg.
• Professional demeanor and appearance must be clean-shaven for OH&S safety reasons.
