Allied Universal is looking for a Full Time Security Shift Supervisor at one of our industrial sites located on the outskirts of Fort Saskatchewan
Starting pay is $29.23/hour.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 11:00-19:30
Responsibilities:
- Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
- Provide direction and instruction to subordinates regarding the performance of their duties.
- Cross-training officers to make them more versatile and run site efficiently.
- Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management.
- Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under their direct supervision.
- Oversee on-site training for security officer assigned to his/her shift.
- Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance when assigned to his/her shift.
- Complete day to day operations such as: mobile patrols, foot patrols, and audits.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Alberta Class 5 (Non-GDL) Driver’s License
- Alberta Security License
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Efficient written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Customer service oriented.
- Ability to prioritize workflow in a fast-paced environment.
