Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guard - Full Time in Sudbury, Ontario.
Job Title: Security Guard - Full Time
Job Location: Sudbury , ON
Job Type: Ful-Time
Pay Rate: $ 22.23 per hour
Shifts: Sunday to Wednesday (1600 -midnight )
Requirement:
- Familiarity with access control systems and alarm .
- Experience with report writing and note-taking.
- Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
- Valid Ontario security guard license.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada for 40 hours per week.
- First Aid and CPR - Level C
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions :
- Control and monitor access to the facility/assigned areas to ensure safety and security at all times.
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and customer-focused image when interacting with the public, staff, and visitors.
- Effectively manage conflicts, incidents, and emergencies, using strong de-escalation techniques.
- Conduct regular patrols in accordance with post orders, including both indoor and outdoor areas as required.
- Respond promptly to fire alarms and other emergencies, ensuring all site safety and emergency procedures are properly followed.
- Complete all required site-specific training and follow instructions provided by the Site Supervisor or Manager.
- Exercise sound judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, especially when taking charge during emergencies or incidents.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records, including incident reports and daily logs, with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrate excellent observation, as well as clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Operate and monitor security systems and equipment, including computers, CCTV cameras, radios, and other surveillance tools.
