Allied Universal is seeking a professional and highly motivated Security Guard Access Control to join our Security Operations team in Winnipeg, Manitoba, supporting a Winnipeg Airport Authority contract.

This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, thrive in fast-paced operational environments, and are committed to delivering exceptional security services. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring security systems, coordinating emergency communications, responding to incidents, and maintaining situational awareness while adhering to Government of Canada security protocols and established operational procedures. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, exercises sound judgment under pressure, and demonstrates the highest level of professionalism and integrity.

Security Clearance Requirement:

Applicants must have resided continuously in Canada for a minimum of five (5) years.

Position Details

Position: Security Guard Access Control

Location: Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $16.96 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Sunday (4 Days On/Off, 2 days/nights rotational)

Hours: Various Shifts (Days, Nights, Weekends and Statutory Holidays)

Overview :

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security guard to oversee security operations at our Canadian site in Winnipeg, Manitoba. 

Required Qualifications

• Positive outlook and enthusiasm for the Airport Community.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain a valid RAIC
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Effective written/oral communication skills in English.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
• Planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to exhibit a calm and reasoned approach when dealing with high-stress situations
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to an ever-changing work environment.
• Willing and able to train in backup positions
• Post-secondary education. (Not a requirement but would be considered an asset)
• First Aid and C.P.R. certification. (Not a requirement but would be considered an asset)
• Verbal skills in a second language. (Not a requirement but would be considered an asset)
• Previous work experience in security or related field. (Considered an asset)
• Must be willing to cross-train in ALL level 1 positions
