Security Terminal Ambassador – Winnipeg International Airport

Allied Universal is seeking professional and motivated Security Terminal Ambassadors to join our Security Operations team in Winnipeg, Manitoba, supporting the Winnipeg Airport Authority contract.

This role is ideal for individuals who are customer-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced 24/7 airport environment. The successful candidate will support airport operations, respond to incidents, maintain situational awareness, and follow established security procedures and Government of Canada protocols.

Position Details

Location: Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $16.96/hour
Schedule: 4 Days On / 4 Days Off – Rotating Days & Nights
DayShift : 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM / Night Shift: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM

Security Licence: Not required

Security Clearance Requirement

Applicants must have resided continuously in Canada for a minimum of five (5) years to meet the applicable security clearance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily security operations within the airport.
• Monitor security systems and maintain situational awareness.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate emergency communications.
• Follow all established security procedures and Government of Canada protocols.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service to passengers, airport employees, and stakeholders.
• Complete required reports and documentation.
• Remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Cross-train and provide support in other Level 1 positions as required.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain a valid RAIC.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays.
• Previous security experience is an asset.
• First Aid/CPR, post-secondary education, and a second language are assets.
