Allied Universal is seeking Secuirty Professional in Mississauga, Ontario.

Job Title: Secuirty Professional

Location: Mississauga, ON

Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.20 per hour

Shifts: 07:00 - 19:00 Continental (Week1 - Sun to Wed) (Week 2 - Sun to Tues)

Requirements: 5-Year residency in Canada to obtain clearance

Overview :

We are looking for Security Professional who is tasked with providing constant surveillance, protection, and a visible security presence within the site. This role typically involves standing for extended periods.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Incident Reporting: Document and report incidents accurately, ensuring all relevant details are captured for future reference and analysis.

• Maintain a visible security presence: Staying stationed at a fixed location within the retail premises to deter theft, vandalism, or other suspicious activities.

• Threat Assessment: Evaluate situations to determine the level of risk and recommend appropriate responses.

• Professional Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication through email correspondence with team members and other stakeholders.

• Assist customers and staff: By providing directions, answering safety-related questions, and offering assistance as needed, without disrupting the flow of operations.

• Emergency Response: Act swiftly in emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.

• Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of incidents, inspections, and other relevant documentation for compliance and review.

REQUIREMENTS :

• 1-2 years of experience working in a security sector.
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 5 - year residancy required for clearance purposes.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with operating technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• First Aid and CPR
