Title:          Security Operations Manager 

Location:   GTA with travel within Canada

Position:    Full-Time / 40 hours 

Shift:         Monday – Friday

Pay Rate:  $75,000.00 - $83,000.00 / annually

As a Security Operations Manager at Allied Universal®, the role is accountable for day-to-day operations of an assigned account, including management and professional development of security personnel. The Security Operations Manager will build, improve, and maintain relationships with clients and employees: develop and retain staff; coordinate needed support services and solve problems to effectively run the account.  This role is responsible for meeting or exceeding financial and operational goals; provide quality customer service. The Security Operations Manager maintains or oversees the maintenance of weekly operating schedules and provides after-hour emergency response as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts, providing proactive management and regular updates.
  • Coordinate and manage security operations, ensuring client requirements are met with precision.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs and offering customized security solutions.
  • Monitor the performance of security personnel and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Develop and present reports on security operations, performance, and improvements.
  • Oversee contracts and agreements, ensuring all legal and financial obligations are met.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, HR, etc.) to address any client issues.
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing for services provided.
  • Travel within Canada to visit clients, conduct on-site assessments, and oversee the implementation of security strategies.
  • Conduct training and support security personnel when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Post secondary education, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience 
  • Must possess, or be able to obtain, a valid security license
  • Minimum of two (2) years of security supervisory experience
  • Valid Class 5 -drivers license with a clean drivers abstract 
  • Ability to travel by car or plane.
  • Ability to travel frequently across Canada (up to 20% of the time).
  • Fluent in both English and French (written and spoken).
  • Proven experience in a security management role or similar, with a strong understanding of security operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of security technology and systems is an asset.
  • Previous experience in customer service or account management is a plus.
