Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in North York, ON.

Location: North York, Ontario

Pay Rate: $16.55 - $19.78 per hour

Open Availability Required

Vaccination Required: Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis

Mandatory Training: Ministry of Labour 4 Steps / WHMIS 2015

Driver's Licence: G2 (minimum); G (preferred)

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, hospital, or corporate security setting.
  • G2 driver's licence (mandatory), G licence (preferred), Standard First Aid + CPR (or willingness to obtain).
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and wireless technology.
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
  • First Aid and CPR
  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Must be 25 years or more, due to company insurance requirements for vehicle operation
  • Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Conduct foot and vehicle patrols to ensure safety and security on-site.
  • Monitor and manage security and safety protocols.
  • Respond to emergencies and communicate effectively with other security personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with provincial and company safety regulations.
  • Maintain professionalism while interacting with the public and company personnel.
