Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards  in Courtice, ON.

Title:  Security Guard - Full Time (Permanent)

Location: Courtice, ON

Payrate: $18.54 + $2 per hour premium

Shift Type:  12 hours 

Schedule:  Monthly Continental Rotation : Days - 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m then Nights 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. 

Overview:

Allied Universal is seeking experienced  Security Guards for our security operations in Courtice, ON. The ideal candidate is a seasoned guard with excellent communication skills, willing to work rotational continental shifts, and able to work within a dynamic security team. If you have experience as a Security Guard, enjoy patrolling, and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine patrols of the property (internal and external) to monitor activities and ensure the security of designated areas.
• Control access to the premises by checking identification, credentials, and authorizations of individuals entering the facility.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and report any suspicious activities or security breaches.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents and provide the necessary assistance.
• Maintain detailed reports of daily activities, irregularities, and any incidents that occur during the shift.
• Ensure compliance with security and safety regulations by staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.

Special Requirements:

• Must have ability to provide proof of a minimum of 7 years residency in Canada
• Must not have taken leave from Canada, in the last 7 years, for a period of greater than 6 months

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of working experience in the security industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Open availability for rotational shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
• Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• First Aid and CPR
• Proven ability to stand or walk for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.
