- Mobile Patrols: Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas, including parking lots, premises, and other high-traffic areas, to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of personnel and property
- Maintain a visible security presence: Staying stationed at a fixed location within the retail premises to deter theft, vandalism, or other suspicious activities.
- Threat Assessment: Evaluate situations to determine the level of risk and recommend appropriate responses.
- Professional Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication through email correspondence with team members and other stakeholders.
- Assist customers and staff: By providing directions, answering safety-related questions, and offering assistance as needed, without disrupting the flow of operations.
- Emergency Response: Act swiftly in emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of incidents, inspections, and other relevant documentation for compliance and review.
- G License, Clean Driver's Abstract and 25 years age or above for insurance purposes.
- 1-2 years of experience working in a security sector.
- Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
- Familiarity with operating technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- First Aid and CPR
