Allied Universal® is hiring a Mobile Security Supervisor. The Mobile Security Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing a mobile security unit, encompassing leadership, coordination, client interaction, incident response, training, equipment maintenance, and compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the mobile patrol security professionals, including scheduling, training, and performance management; provide leadership and guidance, coaching, mentoring, and enforcing company policies and procedures
  • Implement crisis management protocols, including evacuation procedures, communication strategies, and resource allocation, to ensure the safety and security of personnel and assets; serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, providing updates, and ensuring satisfaction with security services
  • Monitor patrol routes and schedules to optimize coverage and response times, adjusting as needed to address emerging threats or vulnerabilities
  • Coordinate with clients, property managers, and law enforcement agencies as needed to address security concerns and incidents
  • Maintain accurate records of patrol activities, incidents, and observations, and prepare detailed reports for management and clients
  • Ensure that patrol vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition, reporting any issues or deficiencies for prompt resolution
  • Stay informed about security trends, threats, and best practices, and make recommendations for enhancements to patrol procedures and protocols
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the mobile patrol unit, promoting teamwork, morale, and a strong commitment to safety and security

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid G drivers’ license
  • 25+ years older ( for insurance purpose)
  • Valid provincial Security Guard License
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in security operations
  • Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and respond effectively to emergency situations
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize activities through time management skills
  • Skilled in de-escalation techniques
  • Proficiency in security procedures, protocols, and emergency response techniques

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Additional education or training in security management or related field
