Allied Universal® is Seeking Mobile Security Supervisors in various locations in OTTAWA for a renowned financial institution. The Mobile Security Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing a mobile security unit, encompassing leadership, coordination, client interaction, incident response, training, equipment maintenance, and compliance. The Mobile Security Supervisor will maintain a proactive approach in ensuring the safety and security of personnel, assets, and premises under their supervision. The Supervisor will respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms, coordinating with appropriate authorities and stakeholders as needed. The Mobile Security Supervisor may work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Job Type: Full-Time
Shift Type: Contiential Schedule - 12 hour shift - overnights, must be able to work some weekends
Pay Rate: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour
Requirements: G License, Clean Driver's Abstract and 25 years age or above for insurance purposes.
Shift Schedules: Week 1 - 4 days / Week 2 - 3 days - 12 hour shifts

Overview:
Allied Universal is currently hiring Mobile Security Supervisors to provide professional, front-line security services for a prestigious financial institution. As a Mobile Security Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and assets through patrols, monitoring, and incident response. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions :
- Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas, including parking lots, premises, and other high-traffic areas, to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of personnel and property
- Monitor surveillance systems and alarms, promptly responding to any security breaches, disturbances, or suspicious activities
- Perform security checks of buildings, doors, windows, and other access points to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure compliance with security protocols
- Interact with clients, visitors, and employees, providing assistance, directions, and information as needed while enforcing security policies
- Report any security incidents, accidents, or hazards immediately to supervisors or appropriate authorities, documenting observations and actions taken
- Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other security personnel to coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies effectively
- Maintain accurate logs and records of patrol activities, incidents, and observations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Conduct routine inspections of security equipment, vehicles, and emergency supplies, reporting any issues or deficiencies for prompt resolution
- Conduct risk assessments and security audits of client premises, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending security enhancements to mitigate risks
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and relevant regulation
Requirement:
- Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
- Experience with report writing and note-taking.
- Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
- Valid ON Security Guard License.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada over 40 hours per week.
- Must be able to provide a clear driver's abstract and ON Full G license.
- First Aid and CPR
- Must be at least 25 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
