Minimum 6–12 months of Security Guards experience required; strong customer service and communication skills essential.
- Minimum 6 months -1 year of security experience in high-risk or vulnerable settings
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Must be fluent in English & French (written & verbal)
- First Aid & CPR Certification
- Reliable transportation
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control systems, monitoring of alarms, biometric security systems and additional devices and sensors related to security
- Call Centre/Dispatch Centre/Emergency Response Centre experience required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency (incident reporting, access control systems, email)
- Professional demeanor with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Physically capable of extended standing, walking, and patrol duties
- Maintain a safe and secure environment
- Monitor access points and conduct routine patrols
- Respond to incidents and emergencies professionally
- Complete accurate and detailed reports
