Title:  Security Guard

Location: Cornwall Ontario

Pay rate: $16.55-$18.36/HRS

Job Type: Part-Time

Job Summary:

Allied Universal is seeking experienced  Security Guards for our security operations in Cornwall, ON. The ideal candidate is a seasoned guard with excellent communication skills, and able to work within a dynamic security team. If you have experience as a Security Guard, enjoy patrolling, and can maintaina high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe and secure environment
• Access control of entryways and exit points using equipment at your disposal
• Facility patrol and enforcement of site regulations.
• Monitor security cameras and other surveillance equipment to detect and deter any suspicious or unauthorized activities.
• Enforce property regulations and city bi-laws on the client's site
• Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
• Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues
• Complete daily reports and incident reports
• Provide excellent customer service       
• Good adaptability

 Requirement:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License (required)
• Must be 25 years of age for insurance purposes.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Proficiency in English is required
• G Driver’s license.
• Valid first aid certification
• 1 year or more of security related experience
• First aid and CPR certification required
• Excellent customer service and resourcefulness 
• Good communication skills (written/oral)
