Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Canada.

Position Title:  Security Guard 

Location: ONTARIO

Compensation: $18.00/per hour

Shift Type: EVENINGS

Shift Schedule: Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday & Friday

Working Hours: 15:00-23:00

Position Overview:

Allied Universal, a global leader in security services, is currently seeking highly skilled Security Guards to oversee security operations across various Canadian locations. This position requires a dedicated professional with a strong commitment to safety, exceptional communication skills in both French and English, and the ability to maintain a calm, effective response in high-pressure situations. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, flexible, and ready to take on the responsibility of ensuring the security of our client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine security patrols and perform site inspections to ensure adherence to security protocols and operational standards.

• Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents and emergencies, exercising professionalism and sound judgment in all situations.

• Collaborate with team members and shift leads to ensure seamless transition between shifts and consistent coverage.

• Manage and oversee shift schedules to guarantee adequate security staffing for both day and overnight shifts.

• Operate and manage security technology and communication systems as per client-specific requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License is mandatory.

• Demonstrated ability to work with technology and wireless communication systems specific to client sites.

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a security guard or in a related security role.

• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week as required.

• First Aid and CPR certification is required.

• Capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and standing or walking for extended periods.

• Physically capable of occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms, as well as climbing stairs.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant work experience.
