Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Canada.

Position Details

Role: Bilingual Security Guard

Location: Ottawa, Ontario

Pay Rate: $18.40/hour

Job Type: Part-Time

Schedule: Flexible shifts (Monday to Sunday, various hours)

**Must have resided in Canada for a minimum of 5 years continuously**

Qualifications:

• Must have lived in Canada for at least 5 continuous years (required for clearance)
• Canadian citizen or permanent resident
• Fluent in both French and English
• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid Certificate
• Experience in access control, ID verification, or similar security roles is an asset
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities include:

• Control and monitor access to the site
• Issue and verify ID badges and credentials
• Maintain accurate security records
• Perform routine patrols and enforce site procedures
• Provide professional customer service to staff and visitors
• Report incidents, suspicious activity, and safety concerns

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• Standing, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs) required
• Indoor office setting with occasional outdoor exposure
• Ability to stay focused, multitask, and remain calm under pressure
