Allied Universal is seeking a professional and reliable Security Guard to work rotational 12-hour shifts in Saint John, New Brunswick.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and facilities, while providing professional and courteous customer service. This position is ideal for someone who is flexible, dependable, and comfortable working a rotational schedule based on operational requirements.

Position Details

Position: Security Guard

Location: Saint John, New Brunswick

Employment Type: Rotational Schedule

Pay Rate: $20.19 / hour + applicable premiums

Schedule: Rotational 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Required Qualifications

• First Aid/ CPR certification.

• Excellent observation, communication, and customer service skills.

• Ability to respond professionally to emergencies and security incidents.

• Knowledge of CCTV, access control, and alarm systems is an asset.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office is an asset.

• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

• Must be able to successfully complete a 5-year background check.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the site.

• Conduct regular patrols and monitor the premises.

• Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and other situations.

• Monitor CCTV, alarm, and access control systems.

• Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate records.

• Enforce site policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Provide professional and courteous customer service.

• Collaborate with security teams, client personnel, and external emergency responders.
