Allied Universal is seeking Security Guard in Saskatoon - Saskatchewan  

Position Title: Security Guard 
Location:  Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Job Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Shift:Weekends 1500 - 2300

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Saskatchewan security guard training certificate
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Valid Class 5  Driver’s License.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada. 
• First Aid and CPR
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities:

• Perform foot patrols of buildings and their surrounding areas.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or individuals.
• Prevent and identify instances of theft or vandalism.
• Document incidents thoroughly and maintain daily logs.
• Enforce policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Handle conflicts with composure and efficiency.
• Communicate with team members via radios and mobile phones.
• Adhere to emergency procedures and respond promptly to alarms.
• Ensure the enforcement of safety and security protocols.
