Title:          Security Site Chief (Langley, British Columbia)

Job Type:  Full Time

Payrate:     $26:00 per hour

Schedule:  Monday to Friday 0600 - 14:00

Overview:

Join Allied Universal as a dedicated and seasoned Security Site Chief, where you will be instrumental in safeguarding our premises, assets, and personnel. In this pivotal role, you'll lead a team of security officers, enforce security protocols, and uphold an unwavering commitment to maintaining a secure environment.

Requirement:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in security.
  • Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
  • Must have a valid BC Security License.
  • Must have a reliable Vehicle
  • Must have a provisional driver's license 
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
  • First Aid and CPR.
  • Must be vigilant in monitoring CCTV cameras, for the location.
  • Experience in logging trucks in warehouse is an asset
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of security personnel, ensuring effective patrolling and site security.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with clients, visitors, and employees through exemplary customer service and effective communication.
  • Address and manage security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Coordinating with other team members to ensure seamless shift transitions and consistent security coverage.
  • Supervise the day to day security operations of an assigned client site
  • Manage a team of security officers, site and/or shift supervisors including hiring/selection, scheduling,training, coaching, development and support
  • Ensure the client site is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property
  • Build, improve and maintain effective relationships with both client and employees
  • Coordinate necessary support services to effectively manage client site to meet or exceed operational goals and provide quality customer service
  • Ensure all required reporting and contract compliance requirements are met
  • Assure regular communication of issues or program with Client
  • Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately
  • Other Supervisory / management responsibilities as determined by leadership
