Security Site Manager in a Luxury Retail Shopping Centre

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Site Manager to lead security operations at a prestigious luxury retail shopping centre in Vancouver.

This is a high-profile leadership opportunity for a confident, professional, and hands-on security leader who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The successful candidate will oversee daily security operations, lead a large team of security professionals, build strong client relationships, and ensure the highest standards of safety, service, and operational excellence.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of security management experience (retail experience preferred) or progressive security experience with leadership responsibilities.

• Experience leading and managing security teams (20+ employees preferred).

• Strong background in security operations, incident management, and team performance management.

• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

• Experience with scheduling, reporting, and operational oversight is an asset.

• Must be flexible to work outside regular hours when required by operational needs.

Location: Vancouver, BC
Pay Rate: $30.00/ hour + 
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily security operations for a major luxury retail property.

• Manage, coach, and develop a team of supervisors and security professionals.

• Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and exceptional customer service.

• Build and maintain relationships with clients, property management, retailers, and key stakeholders.

• Oversee incident response, investigations, emergency situations, and operational challenges.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, site procedures, contractual requirements, and performance standards.

• Review reports, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement security best practices.

• Support training initiatives, emergency planning, and team development.

• Provide after-hours support for critical incidents when required.

What We’re Looking For

• 2–3+ years of experience in a Security Site Manager, Security Operations Manager,or similar leadership role.

• Proven experience leading security teams in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution abilities.

• Experience managing investigations, incidents, and emergency response.

• Knowledge of CCTV, access control systems, and security technology.

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and incident reporting systems.

• A professional presence with the ability to build trust and maintain strong client relationships.

• Experience in luxury retail, shopping centres, commercial properties, or hospitality security is a strong asset.

• Valid BC Security Worker Licence required.

• OFA Level 2 and AST certifications required or must be obtained.
