Allied Universal is seeking Security Administrator in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
Position Title: Security Administrator - Part Time
Location: Waterloo, Ontario
Hourly Rate: $20.60 per hour
Shift Schedule:
- Week 1: 1 shift of 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Week 2: 2 shifts of 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Average Hours: 36 hours bi-weekly.
Position Summary
Allied Universal is currently hiring Security Administrator in Waterloo , ON to provide professional, front-line security services. This role is responsible for supporting and coordinating the daily operations of a security department. The role is to ensure that security services run efficiently and comply with company policies and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Managing schedules, employee records, and security documentation.
- Coordinating with security officers, clients, and management teams.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and security procedures.
- Supporting investigations and responding to security incidents when necessary.
- Ensure all safety and emergency procedures are followed during fire alarms and other site emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records, complete incident reports, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Familiarity with access control systems and alarm .
- Experience with report writing and note-taking.
- Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
- Valid Ontario security guard license
- Must be eligible to work in Canada for upto 40 hours per week.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
