Allied Universal is seeking a Security Site Manager in Waterloo, Ontario.
Job Title:Security Site Manager
Location: Waterloo, ON
Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
Shift Timing: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Requirements: Must have a 5 year residency in Canada (uninterrupted) to be considered due to the Clearance Requirement.
Overview:
Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Site Manager to oversee security operations at a client location in Waterloo. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with strong communication skills, proven crisis‑management capabilities, and a customer-focused approach. This role requires leading a dynamic security team, performing patrol duties, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Candidates with supervisory or team lead experience in the security sector are highly encouraged to apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Security Operations: Conduct regular patrols and monitor client properties to ensure compliance with security procedures.
- Customer Service: Greet and interact with visitors, employees, and clients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary liaison between Allied Universal account management and client representatives. Address feedback and concerns related to the security program.
- Incident Response: Respond effectively to security incidents and emergencies, ensuring safety and proper escalation.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate security logs, incident reports, and operational documentation.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to provincial regulations, Ministry requirements, and company policies. Promote regulatory and procedural compliance among all security staff.
- Team Leadership: Provide on-site leadership to security professionals, supporting morale and performance. Take initiative during urgent or high-priority situations. Offer guidance and act as a resource for staff inquiries
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of verifiable employment in the security field.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in security services.
- High school diploma, GED, or recognized equivalent.
- 25 years of age or older (required for insurance coverage on company vehicles).
- Minimum 5 years of residency in Canada to meet site-specific security clearance requirements.
- Valid Ontario G‑Class driver’s licence.
- Ability to operate site-specific technology and wireless communication systems.
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
- Eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours per week.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
