Job Title: Parking Enforcement Officers
Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba
Type: Part Time, casual
Pay Rate: $18.20 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Sunday either 7:30am - 4:30pm or 8:30am - 5:30pm and also nights 10:30pm till 6:30am.
Requirements: Must hold a class 5 driving license with a clean driving abstract
Security Guard License Not required.
Overview :
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Parking Enfocement Officers to patrol and monitor the premises. This position requires surveillance.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Patrol Premises: Conduct regular patrols of the designated area, ensuring security protocols are followed, and identifying any potential security risks or suspicious activities.
- Monitoring & Surveillance: Issue parking violation tickets, patrol areas while remaining alert to any incidents or disturbances.
- Work Outside in the Elements: Perform duties in outdoor environments, which may include exposure to "cold" weather conditions.
- Standing and Walking for Long Periods: Conduct foot patrols around the premises, standing and walking significant distances to ensure all areas are properly secured.
- Report Security Issues: Document and report incidents, unusual activities, or safety hazards to management or local authorities as required.
- Enforce Property Rules: Monitor and enforce property rules and regulations to prevent unauthorized access or other breaches of security.
- Emergency Response: Respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations, including fire, medical emergencies, or security threats, until help arrives.
- Communication: Maintain constant communication with the security team and management via radio or mobile phone. Follow communication protocols for shift changes, emergencies, or any relevant updates.
- Customer Service: Provide a visible and approachable security presence, offering assistance to visitors or employees when needed while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Adhere to Procedures: Follow all security policies and procedures, including safety and emergency protocols, to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.
REQUIREMENTS :
- 1-2 years of experience working in security.
- Must hold a class 5 driving license
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to clear the "Vulnerable sector check- Background check"
- First Aid and CPR
