Allied Universal is seeking Security Professional in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Job Title: Security Professional 

Job Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba

Job Type: Casual Floater 

Pay Rate: $17.03-18.46 per hour

Shifts: Full Availability Required - Various shift times

Overview :

Allied Universal is seeking experienced Security guard to oversee security operations at our Canadian site in Winnipeg.

Requirement:

• Must have prior security experience in a team environment, and open availability. 
• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid security guard license.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada 
• Use of Force certificate required
• Must be at least 25+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Must have Driver's license.

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions :

• Access control for the facility/area
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site required training
• Vehicle Gate and Console duties
