Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
Shifts: Monday - Friday | Day Shift
Schedule: 7 AM - 3 PM
Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Security Supervisor - Industrial Site to lead security operations at an active industrial facility in Vaughan, Ontario. This role involves supervising on-site security staff, overseeing access control and monitoring services, and ensuring all security operations are conducted in accordance with Allied Universal standards. The Security Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and secure environment for employees, contractors, visitors, and assets.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct assigned security personnel to ensure proper coverage, compliance with post orders, and professional conduct always
- Conduct regular patrols of the industrial facility, perimeter, parking areas, and restricted zones to detect and deter unauthorized activity
- Monitor CCTV, access control systems, alarm panels, and other security technology, ensuring appropriate response to alerts and incidents
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and ensuring gates, doors, and secured areas remain protected
- Act as the primary on-site point of contact during assigned shifts.
- Provide leadership and guidance to security staff during incidents, ensuring proper escalation
- Prepare, review, and approve detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handover documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Conduct inspections of security equipment, emergency response tools, and site infrastructure, reporting deficiencies and coordinating corrective actions
- Liaise professionally with client representatives, contractors, and law enforcement as required to support site security objectives
- Identify security risks, safety hazards, and procedural gaps, recommending improvements to enhance site security and operational efficiency
- Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring of new security personnel, ensuring understanding of site-specific procedures
- Perform hands-on security duties as required to support operational needs, including covering shifts or access control posts
Requirement:
- Minimum 2 years of Security Supervisory experience, preferred
- Familiarity with access control systems, alarm monitoring, and CCTV operations
- Strong report writing, documentation, and communication skills
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours per week
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and respond effectively to emergency situations
- Knowledge of using computer is preferred
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED or equivalent work experience)
